Position Overview: The Client Accounting Services Manager will lead one of our dedicated teams in delivering high-quality accounting services to our clients. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical accounting expertise, and client management skills. You'll oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, manage client relationships, and develop strategies to enhance our service offerings. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the client accounting services department.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency.
- Supervise, mentor, and train a team of accountants and support staff in providing exceptional client services.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, and providing strategic financial advice.
- Coordinate with other departments and managers to ensure seamless service delivery and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve our services and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within an accounting firm or financial services environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to improve services.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate the team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering client-focused solutions.
